Top Takeaways from 3/21/19 RPNA Board Meeting

Neighbors, we want to make you aware of the following Top Takeaways from Thursday’s 3/21/19 RPNA Board Meeting:

  1. SacPD reports recent focus on auto burglaries has resulted in a nearly 40% reduction in these crimes over the last month.  Big thanks to all for their hard work, and remember “Lock, Take, Hide”!
  2. We have great agenda for our Saturday, May 11 Spring General Meeting at Caleb Greenwood:  Overview of Water Meter installation which begins this summer, Two Rivers Trail update, and more.  Expanded food/beverages will begin at 9am.  More details to come.
  3. The Garden Club is having its first ever River Park Garden Tour on 4/13 from 10am-2pm (7 gardens).  More information will be in the RP Review and we will provide details ahead of the event.
  4. Buffalo Chips Running Club donated $500 to the neighborhood to thank us for being friendly to their runs.  RPNA will find a way to use the funds for the neighborhood.  There will be three total runs in RP in 2019: 7/4, 8/10, and 9/8.  More details to come.
  5. “Food Truck Mania” is currently planning six events at Glenn Hall this year: 4/12, 5/10, 6/14, 7/12, 8/9, 9/13.  More details to come.
