Top Takeaways from RPNA Board Meeting (5/16)

Neighbors, we want to make you aware of the top takeaways from the RPNA Board meeting last week (5/16):

  1. Given recent incidents related to the pedestrian gate at Erlewine Circle, RPNA is working on a solution with the City that can be proposed to the neighborhood.  For example, RPNA has asked the City if we can consider locking the gate with a code lock with the code only available to RP residents.  More to come.
  2. The City reports that it has formally taken responsibility for maintaining the drainage ditch that runs behind the homes on the South side of the neighborhood.  Any incidents or needed attention can be reported to the City via the 311 app.
  3. Planning for the Fourth of July festivities are going very well, but we are still far short of the volunteers we need to ensure the event is a success, including setup (7-9), bike valet (varying times), road monitors during car/kid parade, and cleanup (1-2).  If you are able to help, please e-mail Kim Teague at
  4. Upcoming events at Glenn Hall include Food Truck Mania (6/14) and Pops in the Park (6/22).

Interested in any of these issues?  All residents are welcome to come to RPNA Board meetings.  Next meeting is 6/20 at 7:30pm at Fremont Church, 210.
